Into Handgun is an approx. three-hour private 1:1 or 1:2 course in which the beginning shooter receives the basics of operating a handgun in a safe environment. Individual attention is given to areas the student is most interested in after safety and fundamentals are covered.
Equipment needed:

- 150 rounds of ammunition.
If needing to borrow equipment student will be responsible for ammunition cost at current market cost. No extra charge for safety gear and firearm usage.

16-Hour Initial CCW California
Sixteen (16) Hour SB-2 Compliant CCW Training. Covers the requirements for CCW training in Santa Cruz County, San Benito County, Monterey County, Santa Clara County, City of Campbell, & City of Gilroy.
Course broken into a classroom day and range day.
Range day includes; drawing from a holster and engaging threats (shoot vs no shoots), reloads, and malfunction clearances. Range day also will have some lecture components.

8-Hour California CCW Renewal
Eight (8) Hour SB-2 Compliant CCW Training. Covers the requirements for CCW renewal training in Santa Cruz County, San Benito County, Monterey County, Santa Clara County, City of Campbell, & City of Gilroy.
Range day includes; drawing from a holster and engaging threats (shoot vs no shoots), reloads, and malfunction clearances. Range day also will have some lecture components on use of force, prohibited locations, mental health, etc.

8-Hour Qual & Lecture Only CCW Renewal
Read entire description before committing. This course is for those that only want to do a 50 round per gun qual and lecture to meet the current SB-2 requirements. Class happens in two locations.
0800- Meet at Coyote Valley Sporting Clays (1000 San Bruno Ave Morgan Hill, CA), Cowboy Range Bay 5. Qual shoot. Equipment; 50 rounds per gun, eyes, ears, weather appropriate clothing. Please bring enough magazines or loaders to not hold up class during qual.
Following we will travel to the NorCal MedTac classroom (3105 Scotts Valley Dr. #10 Scotts Valley, CA) for lecture. Equipment; classroom appropriate clothing, pen/paper. We will dismiss by 1700 hours.
Defensive Pistol 101 is our introductory course to using a pistol in anything more than a bench rest environment. This is a one-day class that covers basic gun safety and handling. Women’s Only Defensive Pistol 101

Defensive Pistol 102 is a one-day course. Topics drilled on are; fundamentals of marksmanship, strong and weak hand reloads, strong and weak hand malfunction clearances, engaging multiple threats, shooting from cover/concealment, unconventional shooting positions, and fighting to your handgun. We focus on approaching the training in Defensive Pistol 102 from the home defense and CCW shooters view. Lectures can include topics of legal concepts, medical care, and mindset.
Defensive Pistol 101 or equivalent training is a requirement in order to take this course.

Defensive Pistol 103 is our Team Tactics class. We understand that we want to train as we hope to fight if that day comes. This course is all about working together to solve problems 2-5 persons. There is no time for basic fundamental instruction so students must have at least DP101 with us or equivalent with other schools. Focus will be on civilian setting scenarios out in the world and in the home. This class does involve movement and different shooting positions so some flexibility is required.
Topics to be covered:
- Movement in pairs and groups up to five persons.
- Verbal and non verbal commands.
- Bounding in linear and non-linear paths.
- Unconventional shooting positions.
- Extraction under fire.
Students must have training history with NorCal MedTac or a verified competency by other training schools.

Concealed Pistol 102 is our realistic eight (8) hour course for those who do carry concealed or are looking to carry concealed. This is not an intro course as other than a skills check first thing students will work through problem solving as individual CCW holders or in pairs while completing ninety (90%) percent of the class in scenarios.
Students are required to carry on them realistic concealment set-ups and ammunition amounts. All scenarios will be from concealment. You will not find OWB full size pistols with 100 rounds on your belt here. You will have to think as well as shoot in order to solve shoot vs. no-shoot scenarios and hit only the “bad guys” and no “innocents”.
This course does have prerequisites of our Defensive Pistol 101 or another company’s equivalent. Please ensure the course work you’ve done before meets our standards prior to signing up.

- Compact or Sub-compact handgun suited for concealed carry
- Appropriate CCW holster OWB or IWB. If OWB then a cover garment must be used entire time (no ankle, shoulder, small of back).

Low Light 101 is a Three (3) hour course that gives students the basic understandings of the transitioning environment from light to pitch black. 101 is the classroom, dry practice, and airsoft in the classroom or outdoor area session which is required prior to 102 which is the live fire module.

Low Light 102 is a Four (4) hour course designed to take the principles of low light operations and place the students on the live fire range in varying blackness. Deployment of handheld and weapon mounted lights is practiced on the 180 and in simple pairs with movement.

Low Light 103
Take your skills from Pistol 101, Carbine 101, Low Light 101 & 102 and now add darkness.
Low Light 103 is a combination Low Light and Force on Force class. Students will work to clear areas appropriately in low or no light conditions using Glock of AR platform using UTM ammunition making it safe for many training sites and providing the ability to add force on force scenarios.
Ammunition and safety gear provided by NCMT

- Holster for a Glock 19 or Glock 17 appropriate for your weapon light (if you use a handgun light)
- Your AR platform rifle with white light. Do not bring your firing bolt.

Our Force on Force 101 class is a one day (8-hour) course designed to add the stress of an actual violent encounter. Students are challenged with scenarios which include use of force questions, multiple bad guys (and good guys), room clearing, and an environment that is not the square range. Force on Force 101 is our entry into level into the FOF world and will be primarily taught from a Home Defense standpoint.
Force on Force training is a must for anyone looking to have defensive skill with a firearm. We use airsoft guns of varying models to try and accommodate students different preferences. Students will deal with scenarios in an open environment as well as our portable shoot house. No firearms are permitted near the premises.
While this is our entry Force on force class we do require some formal pistol training of our Defensive Pistol 101 or another schools equivalent as a prerequisite.
Equipment list (all airsoft guns, safety equipment, and ammunition is provided):

Force on Force 102
Our Force on Force 102 class is a one day (8-hour) course designed to add the stress of an actual violent encounter. Students are challenged with scenarios which include use of force questions, multiple bad guys (and good guys), room clearing, and an environment that is not the square range. Force on Force 102 is our FOF curriculum where Carbines (AR-15 platform) are introduced.
Force on Force training is a must for anyone looking to have defensive skill with a firearm. We use UTM ammunition and conversions. Students may bring their own AR-15 as the conversion for rifle is a simple bolt. Students will be issued a converted G19 or G17 as a secondary weapon. Students will deal with scenarios in an open environment as well as our portable shoot house. No live firearms are permitted near the premises.
We do require some formal pistol training of our Defensive Pistol 101, Defensive Carbine 101, or another schools equivalent as a prerequisite.

Hand guns are best to use to get to our long guns. Defensive Carbine 101 is a one-day, eight (8) hour course designed to give students the fundamentals of operating their rifle in closer (25 yards and in) defensive engagements. Students will gain a solid understanding of basic rifle operation, sight offset, multiple threat engagement, weapon transitions, basics of cover, and simple linear movement. Defensive Carbine 101 will focus on home and close up engagements with cover vs. concealment, ballistics, and shoot vs. non-shoot being discussed and drilled on.

Defensive Carbine 102 is a one-day (8-hour) class focus on intermediate carbine usage. While our 101 level class had a huge focus on home defense distance and transitions; Defensive Carbine 102 will focus on the rifle itself in terms of malfunctions, reloads, shooting positions, and a lot of movement with farther distances. Magnified optics are not required unless that is how your fighting rifle is normally configured.
Students must have completed Defensive Carbine 101 & Defensive Pistol 101 or equivalent to attend.
There will be a $20 range fee per person collected for this facility. You MUST bring your own food and water for this facility.

The Dry Fire Dojo Series are multiple short two-hour classes designed to work on skill sets often neglected at the range during a shooter’s normal routine. These non-live fire sessions are a cheap alternative to help ensure competency. The sessions are broken down into stages with multiple stages per discipline. Each stage has a mix of “basic” and “advanced” skill sets. Sessions are kept small in student numbers to increase instructor / student time. Each session also has a small trauma or disaster prep topic that will randomly rotate each session. All sessions cost are the same at $35.
Dry Fire Dojo Pistol Stage 1
Dry Fire Dojo Pistol Stage 1 is a two-hour class designed to enforce proper fundamentals of the pistol draw, drawing to retention, unconventional draws in a fight, and fighting from cover. Students will use their own firearm as well as a SIRT Pistol & LASR APP.

Dry Fire Dojo Video Scenarios
Dry Fire Dojo Video Scenarios is a two-hour class where SIRT Pistols and AR equipped SIRT laser bolts are used in real time video scenarios. Multiple scenarios including shoot and don’t shoot are used. CCW and home defense scenarios are enforced along with concepts of use of force and legal liability.

Home Defense Shotgun is a Four-hour (4) class aimed at beginner and intermediate shooters. Unlike Defensive Shotgun 101 this class focuses solely on shotgun use without integration of a handgun. The course is split between classroom and range time. This course is not a huge shooting intensive class as are some of our others so those new or hesitant to enter into shotgun instruction will find round count acceptable.

A four hour course covering all legally required info for Utah’s CCW four-hour CCW requirements. Non-Utah residents are able to apply for a CCW in Utah and given reciprocity throughout the United States (currently 34 states). This class covers firearm safety, suicide prevention, use of force, travel restrictions, basic firearm function, and a completed finger print card signed by a certified Utah instructor.
After the class you will still need for your application a passport sized photo (available at UPS, FedEx, and Walgreen’s Photo locations, a photocopy of your California Driver License, and mail in all completed documents and applicable Utah fees to the State of Utah.
This is an all classroom session with no live fire requirement for the state.

Home Defense Consulting
Home Defense Consulting is threat assessment and training tailored to you or your family’s individual needs. This is not a class as much as it is a partnership facilitated by us. We will work with you inside your own home to develop an action plan to cover security, medical, and tactical considerations with recommendations for hands on training or getting you into one of our classes. The price for this is completely a variable so emailing works best to get us started down the path to helping you or your entire family feel more secure at home, around town, or while traveling.
