đź—ž A Day Late, and Maybe a Buck Short
Marking Three Years Since Bruen
Yesterday marked three years since the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen—a ruling that reset the national conversation around the Second Amendment and reasserted what many of us have known all along: the right to keep and bear arms doesn’t end at your front door.
Since that decision, we’ve seen major wins across the country. “May issue” regimes have crumbled. Courts are now required to apply history and tradition, not just arbitrary interest-balancing tests. And unconstitutional laws are being struck down left and right.
But here’s the deal—we’re not done.
The opposition isn’t packing it in. They’re rewriting laws, rebranding old restrictions, and pushing limits to see what sticks. The only way we continue to win is by staying engaged, staying informed, and yes—putting our money where our rights are.
Legal fights cost money. And the front lines aren’t just in courtrooms—they’re in board meetings, legislatures, and behind closed doors where policy is quietly made. That’s where organizations like the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), Gun Owners of America (GOA), and the California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA) come in. They’ve been fighting tooth and nail to turn Bruen into meaningful change.
If you’re grateful for your rights, it’s time to invest in defending them.

Let’s not be a day late and a buck short next time. Stay sharp, stay trained, and stay in the fight.
